NESKE GAMES Announces Own Existence
Hello everyone and welcome to the NESKE GAMES news blog thing!
Here’s a throwback to when I nabbed a Switch 2 at midnight from GameStop. Luckily they didn’t staple my receipt to the screen. Man, remember midnight sales? Good times!
If you already read my first Instagram post, you might be thinking to yourself, “Hey! This was the same thing he already posted on Instagram!” And you’d be right! Mostly. See, this sentence wasn’t in that post. (Neither was this one.)
Anyway, I wanted to write the first post here on the Official NESKE GAMES World Wide Web Site™ by taking a little bit of what I posted on IG and expanding on it somewhat. Mostly because I’m lazy and didn’t want to have to come up with something exceptionally brilliant just to post here on the site. Going forward, I think I’m gonna treat Instagram like a little mini-journal. Like Tumblr. Or LiveJournal. (Remember LiveJournal? No? Yeah, me either…I’m young just like you!)
And then I’ll probably repost kinda the same thing here so all the nice little journal entries are in one place for folks to read without having to brave the wilds of Social Media, because we all know it’s bad for us.
Then when I’m old I can dust off the computer that’s been collecting dust in the corner for the last 30 years because we’ve all been living inside the Matrix via the implants in our brains, and I can pull up all these posts and think to myself, “man, remember actually typing on a computer instead of just using my thoughts?? Wild!”
Anyway, hi. I’m Steve. Nice to meet you. In case you haven’t figured it out by now, this is website for my “studio.” I’m the only one who works there, so I’m really a solo developer, but I thought giving myself a studio name would make me sound cool.
Guess what? I’m making my first game. I made a video about it, and I’m gonna put it down at the end of this blog-news-entry. Check it if that sorta thing tickles your fancy.
I’m going to make more videos, documenting the process. I love BTS stuff, so I thought it’d be cool to have some of my own to look back on.
And maybe (just maybe), it’ll be heartbreaking and triumphant and awe-inspiring and beautiful and chaotic and hilarious and terrifying and stand as a monument to human achievement and perseverance and studied for decades to come…
Or maybe it’ll be a horrible disaster. Either way, I hope it’s super entertaining to watch. Only one way to find out!
In any case, I wanted to make this post to introduce myself, say what’s up, and invite you along for this wild ride. Go on, take my hand, don’t be scared.
Not sure where it’s gonna take us, but I’m stoked to find out.
Okay bye.
(Oh, and I’ll be sure to talk about the actual game in the next post. Maybe. Probably.)
